A Tiffany Makeover

Time for a Tiffany Blue

and I'm not talking about Me.

(although I probably need

All you need is a litle Paint,

A cool item that needs an update...

And a little time!

So I started by painting the entire pedestal white.

Let it dry completely.

Then I painted the entire pedestal blue.

Several times.

Letting it dry completely between coats.

Why several times?

Because it was gloss paint and I wanted a smooth finish.

Then I lightly sanded around all the edges so that some of the black and some of the white show through.

It's really hard to see in the pics. Sorry I tried to get better ones.

And this is the finished result.

I LOVE how it turned out.

And Yep, you guessed it.....

This WILL for sure be used at my wedding reception.

And it was something that I already owned and the transformation only cost me a couple of bottles of acrylic paint.

  2. What a pretty color! I think it's great that you took something you owned and turned it into something you love. Very eco conscious!
